Sin
Sin is the conscience decision to harm ones relationship with God by disobeying or ignoring his Commandments through evil thoughts or actions. Sinning can cause sever damage to ones charity, which means their relationship with God is in jeopardy. Jesus sacrificed himself for our sins so that we all may be forgiven if we are truly sorry. Sinners can be forgiven by Jesus through the sacrament of Penance or, after death if God sees them as worthy enough to join his Kingdom in a pure state (without sin).
Sin is a deliberate act against God's will. This means the sinner is fully aware that the consequence of their actions is to offend and damage their relationship with God, and choose to act regardless.
